Cancellation & Refund Policy

Plans can change. We aim to keep the process clear, fair, and easy to follow.

Mandatory consumer rights take priority

The conditions displayed before payment apply only to the extent that they do not restrict rights granted by mandatory law. A tour-specific cancellation promise, including free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, is honoured exactly as displayed.

Cancellation Policy

1. Tours offering free cancellation up to 24 hours

If the tour page or written confirmation expressly states “free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure,” a written cancellation received at least 24 hours before the start time qualifies for a full refund of the collected tour price.

2. Last 24 hours, late arrival and no-show

Unless stated otherwise before booking, customer cancellations received less than 24 hours before departure and failure to attend the confirmed pickup or meeting time are generally non-refundable. Provider fault, non-performance, defective performance, mandatory law and documented force-majeure circumstances remain subject to separate review.

3. Date, guest, name or tour changes

A change is confirmed only after an availability check and written approval. Any price difference is disclosed before approval. A reasonable, actual cost may apply to a permitted transfer or name change only where such a cost exists.

4. Cancellation by GetWetTour or the operator

If the service is cancelled in full by GetWetTour or the operator, the customer is not required to accept a voucher or new date. The customer may choose an equivalent alternative or a full refund of the collected service price.

5. Weather, safety and force majeure

Rain or a weather forecast alone does not automatically cancel a service; the operator decides whether safe performance is possible under field conditions. If the service cannot safely operate, an alternative or applicable refund is offered. Documented circumstances outside the customer's control are reviewed separately.

6. Third-party tickets and personalised services

Special terms for admission tickets, private vehicles or name/date-specific external services apply only if clearly disclosed before payment. Any deduction must be based on the agreement and on a documented, non-recoverable amount actually paid to a third party.

7. Virtual POS and card refunds

No separate refund fee is charged for an approved refund. The transaction is normally returned to the original payment method in the Turkish-lira amount collected. Where law requires repayment within 14 days, that deadline applies; otherwise, an approved refund instruction is issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days. Bank posting times may vary.

8. Withdrawal exception and retained rights

The general statutory withdrawal right may not apply to leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period. This exception does not remove rights arising from non-performance, defective performance, unauthorised or duplicate payment, or any applicable package-tour rules.

Complaints and statutory remedies

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers may apply to the competent consumer arbitration committee, consumer court or other authority under the monetary limits and jurisdiction rules in force. Any mandatory mediation requirement remains applicable.
